InTouch and Preparing for Coronavirus Closures

Introduction

With the increase in the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), SIMS InTouch users are reminded of some steps to follow to prepare for possible school closures.

What action do I need to take?

If you are unable to access your full SIMS .net system off-site, the following actions are required to communicate with parents, staff and students (if applicable).

  • An export of contacts from SIMS for import into PageOne.

  • Send a test text and/or email from PageOne, to members of staff for example.

  • When sending messages please refrain from attaching large PDF and Word documents. During this busy time these large attachments may result in delays in sending the messages. Instead, please insert URLs and links to the documents and webpages hosted on your websites.
